Watch: Heated Exchange Over Trump’s Response To School Shooting

Wednesday’s White House Press Briefing got heated when ABC News Reporter Peter Alexander challenged Sarah Huckabee Sanders over Trump’s lackluster response to the latest string of school shootings.

Things took a turn for the worse when Alexander asked Sanders what Trump was specifically planning to do to reduce shoot shootings in the United States.

Alexander pointed to the fact that in the first 24 days of 2018 there were 11 school shootings, most recently in Kentucky and Louisiana. However, Sanders did not take kindly to being called out for the White House’s lackluster response.

Sanders resorted to the dirty debating tactics she learned from Sean Spicer, as she asserted that Alexander insinuated Trump was “complicit” in the latest raft of school shootings.

Alexander snapped back, exposing the Republican Radio attack ad accusing Democrats of being complicit in murders committed by undocumented immigrants.

The truth, however, is that the Trump Administration have no plans to help reduce or mitigate school shootings because they believe that guns are the solution, not the problem.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, for example, infamously claimed that police officers at American schools need guns to protect children from Grizzly Bears. Yes, that actually happened!

Sanders should spend her time identifying solutions to adolescent gun violence rather than retreating into a shell each time a reporter asks a difficult question by resorting to personal attacks aimed at the press.
