Attorney General Jeff Sessions proved yet again this week that he’s a dodgy old racist hellbent on ending legal immigration and unraveling safeguards to protect racial and ethnic minorities.
In an appearance on Fox News with Tucker Carlson, the heir to Bill O’Reilly’s late night racist empire, Sessions went on a ‘Archie Bunker’ rant about immigrants.
“What good is it to bring in somebody who is illiterate in their own country, has no skills, and is going to struggle in our country and not be successful? That’s not what a good nation should do, and we need to get away from it.”
Keep in mind that these comments are made by the Attorney General of the United States! The head of the Department of Justice thinks that a ‘good nation’ shouldn’t take in immigrants because they have ‘no skills’ and are ‘Illiterate’.
Compounding the problem, Fox took the opportunity to exploit and misrepresent DOJ statistics to link immigration to terrorism which is absolutely ridiculous.
Ironically, Sessions went on to argue that the United States should imitate our democratic socialist neighbors to the North:
“We should be like Canada. We should evaluate them and make sure they’re gonna be lawful, they’re not threats to us, they have the education and skills level to prosper in America.”
Finally, Sessions claimed that the Visa Lottery system is “ridiculous” before placing the racist cherry atop the Xenophobic cake:
“What good is it to bring in somebody who has no skills and is not going to be successful?”
