It’s official folks, Sean Spicer has become “Reak” from Game of Thrones! The middle aged Pinocchio Press Secretary stooped to a new low this morning when he denied that FBI Director James Comey was investigating collusion between Russia and the Trump Campaign to sabotage Secretary Clinton’s quest to become the first female President of The United States.
Chief White House Correspodnent for ABC News, Jonathan Karl, began the fiesty exchange by targeting Trump’s earlier claim that Democrats are to blame for all the “fake news” coverage regarding Russia and the Trump Administration.
Jonathan Karl: “Given that the President said, just this morning, that the Democrats made up the Russia story, why would the FBI Director be investigating a story if it’s simply false?”
Sean Spicer quickly interjected by saying, “I don’t think that’s what he said.”
Jon Karl promptly put Pinocchio in his place, “No no no he did, he said that he’s investigating any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and whether or not there was any coordination.”
What was Spicer’s response? A deer in the headlights look and an unceremonious “Correct.” So which is it Sean? How do you go from “I don’t think that’s what he said” to “Correct” within 10 seconds?
